Conference

The conference fee covers access to all panels, as well as all conference materials which will be provided.

From March 1st, the registration fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation.

Please note that DGA membership fee is EUR 110 for regular members and EUR 55 (or EUR 40 “Schnuppermitgliedschaft” for the first two years)  for students.
The DGA offers a Small Grants Programme: After at least two years of membership, our members can apply for a EUR 1,000 grant (e.g. travel/conference, or research grant).
The Young Scholars Group “Asia Studies” is organizing an online conference in May 2021 for young researchers to present their projects, exchange ideas and get constructive feedback. Participation will be free for members of the Young Scholars Group. To become a member you must join the German Association for Asian Studies and check the box labeled “Nachwuchsgruppe”. There are no additional fees.
